Since 2018 Lightning Rod Special has dreamed of returning to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Our barnstorming run of Underground Railroad Game (Fringe First Award! Stage Award! Total Theatre shortlist!) opened so many doors for our company and our artists. Finally, with the smash run of Lions at last year’s Philadelphia Fringe Festival (Steinberg/ATCA New Play Finalist and “Top 8 shows in the Philly Fringe” -Philly Inquirer), we are ready for a comeback!

We secured a coveted 7:30pm slot at Summerhall, one of Edinburgh’s most prestigious venues, and we absolutely must take advantage of this incredible opportunity. So now we are humbly asking for your help to give our nimble, big-hearted hit Lions its international premiere!

Self-produced runs of shows internationally are EXPENSIVE. In addition to the $8000 we are raising with our crowdfunding campaign, we are looking to raise $15,000 via our Big Cat Circle. That's three donors at the Lions-level or one Lion, two jaguars, and five cougars (oh my!). Who can step up and be a LION for Lions??
